BeyondTheAux Of Rat Wedding… The Exciting Punk Trio

Rat Wedding are a thrilling and upbeat garage punk rock trio. After attending the same school in Heathfeild, the group ultimately got together at College in Eastbourne where they properly met.

The group, consisting of Austin Gilbert on bass/vox, Taylor Garnham on Drums/backing vox and Guy Cooper on Guitar, draw their musical influences from Green day, Bad Nerves, Dave Grohl, Descendants along with General 90’s Punk with early 2000s rock. Austin, the bassist/ singer blends his passion for film with the music as they uniquely designs their own posters and single covers as a group.

My favorite release ‘Muse’ is an upbeat and undoubtably catchy single. The drums particularly stood out to me as they capture the emotion and passion of the music really well.

With recent gigs at the Runt-In-Tun Heathfeild and the Crowley Club, the band next anticipated gig is set at the Bees Mouth on the 28th of September… Make sure to check them out!
