Beyond The Aux Of Throckmorton… The Extraordinary Band Of Brighton

Throckmorton are a distinctly unique grunge band from Brighton.

I saw them recently at the Rossi Bar and was amazed by how encapsulating this band really was; I wasn’t expecting the vibe they gave off-throughout the show they’re was an uncanny, almost wicked vibe alongside a story being delivered throughout that really gripped me. A variety of  instruments were used, including a banjo and saxophone which made the performance even more inspiring for me.

The group, founded in college, draw inspiration from bands such as Black Sabbath, psychedelic porn crumpets and Funkadelics Eddie Haze along with gaining inspiration from talented solo artists and bands they’ve met and worked alongside.

The band have an upcoming gig on the 20th of September at the Rossi Bar Brighton. You won’t be disappointed by these unique individuals… definitely go and check them out!
