Sleepless Pleasures is an upbeat, diverse and exciting alternative band based in Brighton. The group consists of Brad, The Drummer, Reuben, The Frontman, Abbey, The Guitarist/Vocalist, and Theo, The Bassist.

The band brings unique inspirations from artists such as Elvis, Weezer, Bowie and Hip Hop elements. Their latest eccentric single “A New Floor” was released in April. I really like the unique approach, the sombre vocals and the eerie effect of the guitar made this song distinctive and catchy.

I saw Sleepless Pleasures unplanned for the first time at Rossi Bar on the 15th of July at their Headline show. I was definitely surprised by Sleepless Pleasures’ performance- it wasn’t what I was expecting at all- it was different and a really unique and quirky performance. I loved how jumpy the music is, especially in the drums. The crowd was lively and everyone was having a good time. The set flowed really well through. The gig started off with energy, and it didn’t leave.

The band is currently planning to release an anticipated EP by the end of the year, along with 3 shows coming up in Autumn so far so be sure to check out what’s to come for Sleepless Pleasures.
